Northeastern Mental Health Center awarded grant

Jun. 18—Northeastern Mental Health Center received a Community Building grant from the Offutt Family Foundation and R.D. Offutt Company.

The $20,000 grant supports mental health nonprofits — specializing in youth depression, anxiety and suicide prevention, according to a news release.

"NEMHC will use it to offset the costs for some children's mental health services," Susan Kornder, Executive Director said in a news release. "We will also use this to enhance regional education on reducing stigma and mental health, and connection and access for rural services."
