Grand Lake Mental Health Center Crisis Services serving Payne County in Stillwater, OK. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself or others, our Urgent Recovery Centers (URCs) are here to help. Our mental health professionals, RNs, Recovery Support Specialists and an on-call physician are trained to help you through a crisis. You will be allowed to stay 24/7 until you feel you are no longer in crisis. The URCs are currently admitting adults only. When you arrive: We’ll ask a few questions to gain a better understanding of how we can help. A nurse will determine if you are physically able to stay or if you need emergency medical care. A staff member will be assigned to you who is there to listen, support you and never judge you. If we can’t meet your needs at our center, we’ll help you get to the right place. Our goal is for you to be well physically, emotionally and mentally. We’re here to help you meet that goal. Admission is voluntary. You must be 18 or older. Once admitted, you will be allowed to leave at any time unless you are determined to be a danger to yourself or others, in which case you will be asked to stay until it is safe for you to leave.

If you or your family member are in need of these type of services, please don’t hesitate to utilize this facility. They are the most caring, understanding, professional and all around incredible staff I’ve been around in this type of facility. God is blessing this place and their staff and it shows because it blesses others that spend time here in their time of need. I can’t praise them enough for their dedication to their care and work of their patients and considers them family. They have helped my family member more than once get through some tough and trying times that possibly saved their life. My gratitude is indescribable for their care, understanding and hard work. Thank you to all the people there that dedicate their lives to help people through things that are hard to understand at times. I pray and thank God that they are there and his blessings will continue there for many years because they make a difference every day. When you’re in this time of need, keep the faith, pra
